As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone seeks to uphold the scriptural call to do justice for all people. Sadly we recognize that sexual abuse, harassment, and misconduct are part of the broken world in which we live. As an expression of our witness to Christ’s message of salvation through grace together with his call to love God and neighbor, the Session of the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone adopts this policy.
The Presbyterian Church of Millstone does not tolerate sexual abuse, harassment, or misconduct by, or to our members, volunteers, elders, deacons, officers, staff, or pastor.
We acknowledge and affirm that our elders, deacons, other officers, and pastor are “mandated reporters” in the State of New Jersey. A mandated reporter is required by law to report suspected child abuse or neglect. (see Book of Order G-4.0302)
