Guest Preachers:

Reverend Fred Whitehurst:
Rev. Whitehurst moved to NJ in 2012 where he is presently Lead Chaplain for Grace Healthcare Services. He attended Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Ga; was ordained in 1996, and was Stated Supply for Hapeville Presbyterian Church in Atlanta for nine years until 2009. He grew up on a dairy farm in New Bern, NC, completed PHD coursework in Art History, and taught at Georgia State U. for 10 years. He officiated at his daughter's wedding in Fernbrook Farms, NJ three years ago. He loves to visit NYC where he lived in the late 70's and consulted with the contemporary art community.

Mr. Matthew Warren:

Matthew was born and raised in Northfield, NJ. He attended The College of New Jersey, where he met his wife Ashley, a Millstone native who attended preschool at United Presbyterian Church of Millstone. In college, Matthew began to sense a call to ministry and worked with several campus fellowships. After college, he attended Princeton Theological Seminary, receiving both a Master of Divinity (2011) and a Master of Theology (2012). He has since worked as an interim youth minister, associate pastor, and as an adjunct professor of history and philosophy at Middlesex County College and Mercer County Community College. He currently teaches social studies in the West Windsor Plainsboro Regional School District and is pursuing his PhD in theology part-time at the
University of Aberdeen. In their free time, he and Ashley like to read, spend time outdoors, and travel.
